Al-Taj News – The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the continued Iranian ballistic missile attacks on the Kingdom, considering them a violation of international law, the Charter of the United Nations, and United Nations Security Council Resolution No. 2817, as well as a threat to the security and stability of the region.
In a statement, the ministry affirmed Bahrain’s full solidarity with Jordan and its support for the measures it is taking to preserve its sovereignty, security, stability, and the safety of citizens and residents on its territory. It also commended the vigilance of the air defense system of the Jordanian Armed Forces and its ability to intercept missiles and counter the attacks.
Bahrain called on the United Nations Security Council to assume its responsibilities and take firm measures to compel Iran to halt its aggressive actions against the countries of the region, in a manner that contributes to de-escalating tensions and preserving regional security and peace.
